Digital Domain - Why Google Doesn’t Like Its Phone Bill - NYTimes.com

What do callers get when their call is blocked? Do they get a
recording of some sort?

I think Google should have blocked calls answered by a recording which
tells the caller,

"Your call has been blocked due to traffic pumping. Call or write to
the FCC to complain and ask the FCC to eliminate local access charges
to rural carriers."

I totally think the FCC should eliminate local access charges to rural carriers.

If people in rural areas need phone service.... then THEY should pay
higher subscription rates.... NOT the callers!
